There are several other pieces that will need to come together to complete your project besides your home. Here is what else you will need:

- A Foundation (which may be a pad, a crawl space or basement)

- Steps
In addition you may need a survey, a plot plan (in order to get a permit), a septic system, a well, decks, porch, a driveway or a garage.
Tying these specialty subcontractors together is the job of the Project Manager who will direct the installation of your home. Your Project Manager will:
- Hire and schedule subcontractors, including the Home installer
- Manage their work on site
- Oversee payments once their work is complete
Home installation is a relatively simple process so a homeowner can easily coordinate the specialty contractors required for each of these steps themselves. This is why many of our buyers prefer to be the Project Manager on their own project and save that cost. This is just one way you can save A LOT of money by rolling up your sleeves and getting into it.
Other homeowners will also choose to complete some aspects of their project themselves, such as landscaping, inside trim, plumbing connections and so forth, as they are able and have the time and skill to do so. If you're looking for the most affordable way to own a home, this is it.
If you would rather not manage your project Home Nation has Project Managers who work directly out of each of our locations that we can refer you to. Even if your home is outside our immediate service area, Home Nation will help you locate a Project Manager in your area. It is our strict company policy that you must have a capable Project Manager to oversee your installation in order to purchase a home from us. Again, if you opt NOT to manage your own project, you MUST have a capable Project Manager instead.

SELECT a Project Manager:

We make sure that you are not on your own after the sale! We supply a free 6 year service warranty for every home that is out of our direct service area, and personally service every home that is within our service area.
TELL OTHERS:
